SPECIALIST
Svitlana Kresina
Perinatal Psychologist · Birth Doula · Master of Clinical Psychology
I'm here in the moments when everything changes.
You're expecting a child, or you've already given birth — and you feel something went wrong. Or you've been a mother for a long time, but something heavy from that time still lives inside you. Or you've simply lost yourself — and don't know how to return.
I'm a perinatal psychologist and birth doula with 18+ years of practice. I've supported around 700 women in childbirth and prepared over 5,000 women and their families for conscious parenthood. I know what it's like when there's no support. And I know how it grows back.
My work is a combination of scientific approach, somatic therapy, and unconditional support in the most important transitions of your life.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING
What doesn't resolve on its own and needs real support
- pregnancy, childbirth, postnatal recovery
- birth trauma, medical trauma
- postnatal depression and maternal burnout
- perinatal loss — the loss of a child during pregnancy or after birth
- maternal aggression, guilt, the feeling of "I'm a bad mother"
- abuse, betrayal, leaving difficult relationships
- grief, losses, searching for a new identity
- emigration and the feeling of a lost self
- life during war — loss of meaning and inner support
HOW I WORK
An approach tailored to you and your situation
I tailor the approach to you and your situation. In my work I combine narrative practice, a trauma-focused approach, crisis therapy, elements of CBT and somatic therapy. We work not just with words — but with the body, which remembers everything.
Philosophy of three pillars:
- Body — practices that reduce the biological impact of stress
- Emotional safety — a space where you're no longer alone
- Dignity — protection of your right to respect in any relationship and system
